We loved the traditional room setup with tatami mats and shoji screens. The kids enjoyed the free ice cream at night and the on-site karaoke was a hit with our teenagers.
My children wanted more English-speaking staff.

This place had so much potential! But with a terrible smell from the staff and the breakfast tasting like cardboard, it woudl ve been nice to feel like a valued guest. Not to mention, I expected at least a complimentary welcome gift for all the hassle. Absoluteley unacceptable for the price charged.

The room had a balcony, air conditioning, and tatami flooring. Enjoyed the hot spring baths and full body massage. Staff was super helpful. Dinner was delicious. The massage chair was a nice touch too! Super relaxing stay overall. Definitely a unique ryokan experience!

The shuttle from the train station was a nice touch and the staff were friendly. the hot springs were relaxing and well-maintained. the hotel is located in a convenient spot for easy access to restaurants and shops.
The decor was outdated and the room was overpriced for what we got. the drum performance in the evening was too loud and disruptive to the peace and quiet we were hoping for.

The traditional Japanese style of the hotel was the highlight of my business trip. The onsen was my favorite part along with the traditional dinner that was offered. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
The hotel was a bit of a distance from my business location, which made transportation and timing a bit of an issue. The room was a bit small and cramped for my liking, but it was manageable.
